"Pet drop off & pick up hours are from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Mon. - Fri. and 8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. on Saturday and by special appointment.
No one is on premises overnight, but pets are exercised after closing when the perimeter gates are secured to keep dogs from bolting or getting away". Remember to please call and verify your pet's drop-off and pick-up times.

All animal staying with us must be up to date on their vaccines given by a licensed veterinarian and must be up to date deworming medication. Cats need their 4 in 1, Leukemia and Rabies to board with us. Dogs need their annual 7 in 1, Influenza, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines which must have been given within the last 6 months. If you are unsure about your pet's vaccine history, please feel free to contact us. Every pet will be given a flea treatment at check in, unless you have proof that they are already on a regular flea treatment schedule.  We can make arrangements to vaccinate and deworm your pet on the same day of boarding with approval from our veterinarian as well.

We hope you will understand why we take such precautions. We don't ever want to put your pet at risk of getting any disease while they stay with us or in turn give something to other pets staying with us. All kennel surfaces are sanitized daily. The kennel is located right next to the hospital; close enough for convenience and expert medical care, but separate from the hospital to insure the best safety for your pet from disease. New clients should come into the office prior to boarding to show vaccine and deworming records.

Cat boarding accommodations include: litter box, litter,dry food and water. If you request canned food for your dog, there will be an additional daily charge.


Dog boarding accommodations include: 3 or more walks per day, dry food and water. If you request canned food for your dog, there will be an additional daily charge. There will be extra charges for animals with special needs or animals that are overly aggressive.

We suggest that you have your pet spayed or neutered. Local ordinances require it. Please understand that unaltered adult pets cause many problems for our technicians as they are very aggressive. For protection of your pet and those of other boarders, please call us to discuss an affordable spay or neuter operation now. If you have any additional questions or concerns about your individual needs, please ask for a consultation to make sure you are protected.

Upon your pets arrival for boarding, payment of a deposit for half of your pet's stay is required either with credit card or cash. Boarding animals that require medication by our staff, please add $2.68 per day..

. RESCUE POLICY FOR BOARDING

1. All rescues must show proof of being a 501c3 organization.
2. All dogs/cats that are dropped off at ACWC must be accompanied with paperwork from the shelter.
3. We need as much information about the dogs as possible from each puller. We would also like a general idea of how long they will be staying.
4. Dogs must have:

1. Examination with veterinarian
2. 7-1 vaccine
3. Bordetella vaccine,
4. Rabies vaccine
5. Deworming,
6. VECTRA
7. Doxicycline

• If rescues have sneezing/runny nose, they can board in the quarantined rescue kennel as long as they are deemed healthy AND there are no GI signs, or no other infectious conditions
• Rescues with GI signs and other infectious diseases must be boarded in isolation.  Isolation prices will be charged.
